First up my scrapbook layout. This was an elderly neighbour that I used to visit and take my daughter to see her. A long time ago now and Gladys has long since passed away.A variety of the papers cut into strips and layered behind the photo. Ive used some Baja Breeze seam binding and Itty Bitty Bits to make cute little embellishments...stamped, punched out and covered in Crystal Effects. Leaves using the birdie punch. The date label is using Four Frames stamp set and co-ordinating punch. Ive added some colour with marker pens. Title is cut with the big shot
Next are the cards.
Crumb cake cardstock randomly stamped with the flower from Cleary for You stamp set. I think it goes pefectly with the roses in the papers....Baja Breeze scallop edge border, Black striped grosgrain ribbon which I cut in half to be economical (!), three little Itty Bitty Bits stamped, punched and covered in Crystal Effects.
My next card again uses Crumb Cake as a card base. Ive stamped over it with the texture wheel. I punched out squares from a selection of the papers and attached to a scrap piece of cardstock, then ran it through the Big Shot using the Top Note die. A patchwork affect. Ive been wanting this Top Note die for sooo long and Im thrilled to be able to buy it here in the UK! You probably cant see from the photo but the die has a lovely "stitched" edging. Baja Breeze seam binding and a flower stamped using the Build a Blossom stamp set which has a co-ordinating punch. Ive also made a scrapbook page show below with another example of the Build a Flower which I think is gorgeous! Very versatile!
